Once all the pavers are laid, use a vibratory plate compactor to settle them. Move the compactor evenly across the entire surface of the patio. Compacting helps lock the pavers into the base material, creating a stable and even surface that prevents the pavers from shifting over time. Repeat passes if necessary to achieve proper compaction.
