Mark the Patio Area
Part of project
Concrete Paver Patio · Step 1 of 10
In this video
Begin by hammering a corner stake into the ground where the patio will start. Use a tape measure to define the first side's length (e.g., 6 feet), hammering in another stake. Repeat for all four corners, defining a 6x8 foot rectangle. String a mason's line around all the stakes to clearly outline the patio's boundaries. Finally, measure the two diagonals of the marked area to ensure it is perfectly square; the diagonal measurements should be equal.
