Once all pavers are laid, distribute sand evenly over the entire patio surface. Use a push broom to sweep the sand around, ensuring it falls into all the joints and cracks between the pavers. This 'polymeric sand' will fill the gaps, locking the pavers together and preventing future movement and weed growth. Continue sweeping until the joints are completely filled and the surface is clean.
