Begin laying your pavers at the lowest elevation of your patio design and work your way uphill. For corners, use 6x9 inch pavers to create an offset bond, enhancing both stability and aesthetic appeal. When laying, gently place each paver to avoid disturbing the carefully screeded sand bed. While it's generally okay to step on freshly laid pavers, try to avoid stepping too close to the edges to prevent shifting. To ensure a natural and varied appearance, pull pavers from different corners of your pallet, working through multiple layers and bands simultaneously. Periodically stop and use a large square to check that your bond lines remain straight, maintaining the integrity of your pattern.
