Post-Cycle Manual Cleaning of Surfaces — Clean the Exterior
Part of project
Washing Machine Cleaning · Step 4 of 6
In this video
Upon completion of the high-temperature cleaning cycle, transfer any remaining dissolved dishwasher tablet solution (or prepare a fresh, diluted batch if necessary) into a spray bottle. Use this solution to spray the inner and outer surfaces of the washing machine door, the rubber seals (making sure to lift and clean under the folds), and any other visible exterior grime. Thoroughly wipe all sprayed surfaces with a clean, soft cloth or sponge to remove residual dirt and leave them clean and disinfected. Performing this manual wipe-down once a month is recommended for optimal maintenance and fresh-smelling laundry.
