Clean the Dispenser Tray — Clean the Dispenser Drawer

Washing Machine Cleaning · Step 2 of 6
In this video
The dispenser tray, where you add detergent, bleach, and fabric softener, is another common area for residue buildup. After each load, open the dispenser tray. Most trays can be easily removed by pressing a release tab, allowing for more thorough cleaning. Once removed, spray your maintenance cleaning solution into all compartments of the tray. Use your old toothbrush to scrub away any soap scum, residue, or gunk. After scrubbing, thoroughly rinse the tray under running water until it's clean. Dry it completely with a microfiber towel to prevent moisture accumulation. This ensures the tray is free of any residue. Once clean and dry, reinsert the tray into its slot.
