Set your front-loading washing machine to the hottest temperature setting and run a normal washing cycle. It's important to allow the cleaning agents (vinegar and baking soda) plenty of time to work inside the drum. A wash cycle of at least one hour is ideal to ensure the heat combined with the baking soda and vinegar effectively kills any smelly mildew or mold within the machine.
