Clean Washing Machine Door and Rubber Seal — Wipe Down the Door Seal
Part of project
Washing Machine Cleaning · Step 3 of 6
In this video
Using the same spray bottle with the water and white vinegar mixture, spray the interior of the washing machine's main door, focusing on the glass and the rubber gasket (seal) that lines the opening. Wipe down the door's glass and frame with a clean microfiber cloth. Next, pay very close attention to the rubber seal. Gently pull back the folds of the rubber seal and thoroughly wipe away any accumulated gunk, lint, hair, and especially mold or mildew that may be hidden beneath. For stubborn residue or hard-to-reach areas, use a small brush to scrub effectively. Continue cleaning until the entire seal is spotless, ensuring all debris is removed.
