Using a spoon or gloved hand, apply the prepared baking soda paste generously onto the rubber seal around the opening of the washing machine. Spread the paste evenly, ensuring it coats all the dirty and grimy areas, especially underneath the folds of the seal. Allow the paste to sit and work its magic for at least 10 minutes to help break down the mold and residue. After 10 minutes, use an old toothbrush to thoroughly scrub the paste into the seal, focusing on any stubborn black spots or grime.
