Part of project
Stair Treads · Step 10 of 10
In this video
To protect the wood and further enhance its appearance, apply a clear protective finish. The creator uses Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane in Clear Satin, an oil-based finish. Apply the polyurethane evenly with a brush over all surfaces of the stained wood. This will seal the wood, provide durability, and add a subtle sheen that brings out the depth of the distressing and the richness of the stain. Allow adequate drying time between coats and before handling.
