After the frame is clamped, use a wet paper towel and a flat screwdriver to clean up any excess wood glue, especially from the inside corners of the frame. The top and outside edges can be cleaned later with sanding, but the inside corners are harder to reach once the glue dries. Rotate the wet paper towel frequently to expose a clean surface, ensuring all glue is thoroughly wiped away. This proactive cleanup will save significant time and effort during the finishing stages. Once the frame is cleaned, place the tools back in their designated storage areas.
