Hang TV, Secure, Adjust Tilt, and Manage Cords — Secure and Adjust for Peace of Mind
Part of project
Wall-Mounted Television Installation · Step 8 of 8
In this video
With a helper (recommended, as the TV is heavy), carefully lift the TV. Align the hooks on the top of the TV mounting rails with the top rail of the wall mount assembly. Gently lower the TV until the hooks securely engage the top rail. Then, identify the small screws at the bottom of the TV mounting rails (which may not be visible on camera but are present). Use a screwdriver (e.g., Philips head from the kit) to tighten these screws onto the wall mount's rail, securing the TV to prevent accidental dislodgement. Adjust the TV's tilt to your desired viewing angle by loosening a knob on the mount's arm, setting the angle, and then tightening the knob to lock it in place. Before finalizing the TV's position, it is recommended to manage all necessary cords and cables (e.g., HDMI, coax, power) by plugging them into the TV while it's still accessible. Finally, gently swivel the TV into its final desired position in the corner.
