Then, measure the vertical distance from the top edge of the TV to the top edge of the rear plate of the wall mount (the part that bolts to the wall). Additionally, consider the thickness of any skirting board at the base of the wall to ensure the TV will sit flush. This measurement is crucial for marking the precise installation height of the wall mount on the wall.
