With the wall mount installed and the TV-side brackets attached, it's time to mount the TV. This step usually requires two people due to the size and weight of flat screen TVs, especially larger models. Carefully lift the TV, aligning the brackets on the back of the TV with the wall mount. Gently hook or slide the TV into place, following the specific instructions for your mount type. Once the TV is on the mount, make sure it is securely seated and locked into position. Many mounts have safety latches, tightening screws, or pull strings that need to be engaged to prevent the TV from accidentally coming off the wall.
