Installing Water Shut Off Valves On Copper Pipe

What happens here

After the soldered joints have cooled completely, take a rag or paper towel and wipe off any excess flux from around the connections. Residual flux can cause the copper to turn green (patina) or oxidize over time, affecting the aesthetics and potentially leading to corrosion. Re-inspect the joints with the mirror to ensure proper cleaning and confirm the integrity of the solder.

Goal: Remove excess flux and re-verify the quality of the soldered connections.
