right today we're gonna be installing a moen georgine product eight seven nine one two srs all right this is a single handle faucet by moen and it looks pretty slick right i mean check that out it's nice so i love mowing faucets right they really are this stuff is all right so i actually really enjoy installing mowing stuff moen makes super easy to install products and they're actually pretty decent as well right like i really they're one of the big manufacturers that i actually recommend to people this little piece right here has got to come off and everything else just falls apart at the same time it says cut to remove do we actually have to cut to remove this probably uh i don't have scissors so guess what pulling out the old knife yeah that's super easy that's actually really thin this probably is the best way to just do this or i mean you could take scissors and chop chop but that's actually pretty thin pops right out dude straight out the gate this comes with a plate too and a little bracket that you could hook up for a three hole sink but we only have one hole so really simple right from the top we're just going to take this with this little washer right here you want to put this through there is a groove side right here make sure that groove side goes inside of the faucet right that's how it's gonna get put in place there so this just goes right there and that flush side it's just gonna mount right on your countertop so what we've got here is just that one hole right you're gonna take all this stuff so easy i'm actually doing this one-handed right you're gonna put all this stuff down in here this hole that's drilled should be an inch and three-eighths it's a standard faucet hole size and that's going to go right like that and it's going to mount that way now that we've got this in the hole you can see that if i let go it actually falls away what you want to do with that is actually take your gooseneck take and just turn it over to the left right so if your handle is on the right turn it to the left and guess what it's actually going to stay right where you need it we're able to go underneath and mount okay and another thing before we do this you want to make sure that everything is lined up and in place above we'll be able to make an adjustment again here in just a second so usually the faucet name is going to be in the front right they like product placement if not well you might want to check the box for what side the faucet handle goes on usually it's on the right but i've seen them in different places so just make sure right and if we look at the box well it is on the right so this is going to be the nut that holds it in place this is the little retainer piece that helps it mount to the countertop and one other nice thing about moen it always comes with a tool to install okay so there's three things in this bag right there's this plastic nut discard that for right now you only want the moon shaped nut and you want this kind of pop metal nut all you're gonna do is slide the moon shape nut up as far as you can get the pot metal not started you're gonna take the tool and you're going to start tightening these up what i do i usually like to do this is i will grab the two supply lines and i will gently pull them straight down and just hold them that way the faucet up top really doesn't move it might move a little bit we'll adjust it one final time before we give it the final titan go up top do one final adjustment make sure that that's straight and then just give that a tighten if you can get a screwdriver to work tighten that down but what i do is take the little six inch channel locks give that a couple squeezes good to go so then you want to grab the hose and you want to grab your sprayer head this side of the hose actually has a protective covering on it so to protect the o-ring don't take that off because you're actually going to be sticking that down this faucet but take this other side be gentle because it is plastic and you're screwing it into metal but just screw it in hand tighten it that's going to be good take this other side start feeding it through here all right then go back below remember the plastic nut that we had saved you want to take that and this is actually going to be a cover that's going to help protect this line right here right because this line is like a nylon line or it's something woven that woven plastic and it will fray and it will break if it keeps rubbing up against this metal right here all the time and so we just take this slide it over that set her up on there and that really just protects that like i said it's got a little lip on it that kind of tucks up in there that just helps that this piece right here that has that cover on it you're just gonna take that pop that off make sure it's out of the way of your supply lines okay and you're just gonna go ahead and push it right up into this piece until it clicks once it clicks it's in and it's not coming out this piece actually has if you look at this right here it's got a little eject button on it that you could eject and you could pop that back out if you needed to this is a great little feature for an easy hookup and then you see this right here this little yellow band that is where this weight right here goes that we talked about earlier just put that in the middle give that a clip it actually clips right on it's not going to move and now it's giving this cable or hose enough weight to keep your faucet head down and in place all right so then another great feature about moen is they always usually give you a label or there's already a label installed on the faucet right that lets you know what the 1 800 number is the actual model number and you could just call them and say hey this is what i need and their customer service is awesome so go ahead pop this off and check out the placement right the placement on this in my opinion is awesome because you're gonna see here in a second when i try out this pull down that it's just got a really good place it's got plenty of free space right because a lot of times this is gonna be in the middle of your kitchen sink they plummet right there but this is actually plumbed over to the right a little bit so if we pan over to the left well check that out we got plenty of space right here and this doesn't actually hit anything it's pretty sweet grab an adjustable jaw don't over tighten you can definitely tell when this starts to get tight a lot of times they say hand tight and then one and a quarter turns no more than one and quarter turns past hand tight and now you're to the point where you would test nothing hanging up there pretty awesome now we want to go ahead run the faucet check the functions make sure it all works move it side to side make sure there's no hang ups make sure hot and cold both work all right folks that's what i have for you really simple kitchen faucet install when it comes to mowing it really is that simple right you can't go wrong they seem to last a long time and if there ever is an issue their warranty is second to none i've never had a problem getting apart from them i really hope you folks are enjoying the videos subscribe click that like button we'd love to have you keep coming back thank you very much and we'll see you again real soon
