Apply Thread Sealant to Adapters

What happens here

Now that the copper connections are complete and cooled, install the escutcheon plates back onto the pipes. Next, take Teflon tape and apply 3 to 5 wraps in a clockwise direction (righty-tighty) to the threads of each male adapter. Over this, apply a good quality thread sealant, such as Megaloc, making sure to get a thin, even coat around the entire thread. This dual application of sealant helps ensure a secure, leak-proof connection for the threaded angle stops.

Goal: Prepare the male adapters for the final angle stop installation.
