Take the loop end of the new cable and attach it to the pulley system with the S-hook, ensuring it's securely in place. Then, feed the other end of the cable through the top of the garage door track and down to the bottom. Attach the bracket on the cut end of the cable to the bottom of the garage door, making sure the cable is taut. Repeat this process for the other side of the garage door if both cables are being replaced.
