Next, slide the spring onto the torsion tube and attach the winding unit. Depending on your door, you might have one or two torsion springs; if there are multiple, the ends of the springs and winding units will be color-coded to help match components. After the spring and winding unit, add the drums. Lift the entire assembly (spring, winding unit, drums on the torsion tube) and place it into the brackets. If your system includes a center support bracket (as shown in the video example), attach it now, ensuring it is straight and level.
