Caught in a Jam! Job site crisis

[Music] all right good morning Bruce good morning Z what's the word ah I have no clue what the word is happy Monday yeah so we're building I'm assuming a wall along here and all the way around I'm assuming darn here darn starting here or ing uh on the other side of the step we're starting uh go up the hill about 3/4 of the way up and uh same on the other side we're starting um about even with the staircase straight across yeah that's going to be a lot of Step UPS cuz you're going up and slow and then are we doing anything alongside the stairs here or are we just kind of Dead ending it yes uh we will carry it um up along the staircase um our wall will be about uh 44 up the concrete yeah and uh it will be about the same on the other side along the staircases nice at the same elevation big project [Music] That's What I Call putting the cart in front of the horse we got to they put the driveway in before we got our work done that's just how it ended up working out I that we were supposed to be here before the driveway got done yeah we were supposed to come in and do it before the driveway got done and then they had something on their schedule they were like I got to do it first it's like okay we can make work so it's our fault well it's a combination of all a little bit and you know what that happens I mean what it is schedules change and weather happens and life stand but I forgot and I didn't just base your wall for your pond either or anything or your two stairs that they next to your giant jacuzzi thingy so you do know how to base oh my better at it oh truck trailer truck was fine but that 50ft trailer was too much for a rookie if you guys don't know what Tim is talking about don't run the excavator sideways along the bank cuz you tip you go this way he always goes straight up to it that way if the bank collapses out he's he's got the rest of his tracks on Solid Ground just like he's doing right now he just digs back up slide down dig don't drive parallel but you already know that I talking to the other guy that doesn't know [Music] that yeah we did that as a public service uh announcement yes just a demonstration to show you how not to do that yes of course all intentional of course we always are we're so perfect yep yeah even that little thing would hurt landing on top of you might not even hurt you might not even feel a thing yeah supposed to be here before the driveway got poured and it didn't work out like that and this all changed this was supposed to be like a 45 in relationship to everything else if you come over here and look it is not a 45 we are what did that end up being like 37 and 1 12 Dee angle or something like that Goofy it was something really weird so I had to get creative with how these blocks are going to split and uh it's going to be a lot of waste cuz you can only use one side of them when you're splitting like this only had to do one other wall with the weird no two other ones that one was a while ago we had to do a really weird corner like this in Maple Grove if you all can remember that far back but I think now that we got it figured out it should go pretty quick this just depend on how the blocks split yeah nothing to it but to do it Z and I got the easy side yeah yeah all you guys one return on this side and that no we got the easy side until we get up to there and then it's going to be a struggle but we'll figure it out H as usual hey Zach if you're getting cold on a job site here's a little trick that'll help you stop that just work for freaking harder [Music] [Applause] [Music] we got built up over there most of the back filling done um up to height holy crap I'm tired today Zach what the heck all right uh plan for the rest of the day is uh same as it has been building and back filling same as we do every day brain yay good morning everybody it is a chilly what it's October now right chilly October morning um so yesterday was kind of weird we didn't really get too much footage it was a lot of standing and figuring and all that stuff uh we ended up knocking this wall down like three courses cuz it was getting a little ridiculous um definitely didn't need to go as high as we initially thought which is cool cuz this looks a lot better than it was uh what it was going to so plan for today we're going to get this one done we're almost at the end [Music] [Applause] Monday or Tuesday so I'm going to get this all back filled and buttoned up as best as we can right now without having the cap sign we got this bit here roughly marked out it's going to be weird on that corner and it's going to be weird on this radius we just going to kind of have to figure it out as we go which I don't mind so Bruce is going to start Excavating Along on that and Zach's going to limited to the amount of driveway that we could take out right okay so we were supposed to be here before the asphalt obviously right so then we could have done everything how we wanted to and asphalt guys would have me met it but that did not work out so we were working around the asphalt and uh yeah so that was fun Bruce wants to go home but you good with it Zach huh you good with it yeah like
