The Strangest Trailers you won't believe exist!

good morning good evening good afternoon we are off to Nashville Tennessee where we are going into the natd show which is not open to the public but they somehow let me get in and they let me bring you guys with so it's almost even better cuz I'll do all the walking and you can sit back and do all the gawking let's Dive Right into Today's Show and see what's new in cooking all right Jared you guys have something kind of unique to the trailer industry which is this handle design right here right yes sir and you're with Watchdog trailers we're with Watchdog this is a watchdog exclusive right now okay but this is an independent company as well okay so this is what makes the magic but that's not where all the magic is so give me a couple cranks let's see how that works so you're not twisting your hand you're not rubbing your hand on that yeah you don't need gloves to let it s through your fingers you know all that oldfashioned stuff Qui connect right here Pop That off everybody has a drill that uses one of these trailers right so somebody that doesn't want a pony up 1,500 bucks for a hydraulic jack this is your Saving Grace Saving Grace and this is speed speed driver all wasn't just the triple axle design that caught my eye but this is really what caught my eye this is a very unique tailgate system tell me a little bit about it Nathan this is our three-way bold tailgates it's one action movement on here makes it a lot easier a lot safer you a lot of guys have the ramp to pull out it's awkward this is an easy system really good for your teams basically have one unlock here lets it go down this is the fun part comes in down in there it sits here that's it that's it and lift it back up show me how it goes back up in the place one hand easy enough back Clicks in back in locked boom yes that is nice by Brandt brand yes brand trailers and you you also got I'm looking inside the trailer you've got steps or a a landing yeah we use these for our buckets so you decide yeah so with our buckets so because we have the safeer ramp system on here a lot of guys back in that's okay but different states different provinces sometimes they go forward and put your here so it makes it a little bit easier we are bolt on as well so you can move them out if you need to so if you're worried about dirt collecting you can pop these in and out yeah all right and the brand website you guys have a lot of equipment the trailers is only a portion of what we do it's a micro portion it's so small so yeah you guys are manufactured out of where we're out of Saskatchewan Canada out of Canada e all right thank you sir thank you all right guys I'm with Connor and you build a lighter stronger trailer more more corrosion resistant okay so you've got two samples in your hand what are we so this one is a regular 10 gauge carbon steel spec strip here no this is an example of the steel that other trailer manufacturers are using okay so show me what you're going to do it with it okay bend it easy and it stays B in form okay so our trailer is actually built from 11 gauge so it's lighter while also bending it you can bend it but it snaps back into place ah so it bounces back bounces back it's high tensil and it's also abrasion resistant so it's three times harder than my regular steel spec and five times stronger okay but now airflow is not new you guys have been around since 1953 correct in the onion industry we started off using onion we made an onion Harvester that used airflow technology to harvest so that's where the airflow names comes from but we're well known in the uh dump body industry so we're taking that dump body technology and incorporating it into dump trailers so you're using this kind of a design so it's a unibody design uni design but not also so we're able to do that because uh we're using the so some manufacturers build the unibody design but we're using higher strength steel which is five times stronger and 800 lb lighter in an average dump trailer an average dump trailer yeah 800 lb lighter and that's going from 10 gauge like standard 10 gauge to this but with also you don't need to upgrade to a seven gauge package which you're going to see thousands of pounds you can stick with this one because it's so strong and one of the things I'm noticing is a continual well design I put pointed that out on other trailers anytime I see separation I see flexing I see rust I see dirt getting in those crevices and creating issues yep it's all those seams are a rush Point eventually on a trailer okay so what else are we looking at with this cter made in America oh yeah Upstate New York uh we got bolt-on fenders stabilizers uh door hold backs um we offer 124 16t uh 2in sides up to 44 in with the sideboard do guys this is the dura Hall this is Renee you own durall right yes sir and you have a new trailer system so this is a dump trailer system an end dump trailer right that's correct but you also have a flat deck and you also have a stackable dump like the Russian dolls exactly okay so this is the Russian doll of trailers but this is how it comes this is how it comes yeah so tell me a little bit about what I'm looking at right here will you all right so first of all we have a brand new goose neck design so it's an engineered goose neck design here okay and what does that mean for the end user first of all it's stronger and second of all it's lighter right so if it's less weight there you can put more weight onto the Traer okay that's number one number two is we've got three different sizes of bins that you can order so we've got the standard 14t that's the red one y and we've got the new 16 ft and the new 20ft bin so approximately 20 yards 16 yard and 14 yards and can no they get out of here man yeah he's a great guy great guy sorry guys oh boy any who anyo um but what makes this unique is you don't need three different trailers for three different bins you don't need three different trailers because all of these bins are stackable and you can pick them up with the same trailer so if you have a 20ft chassis from us you can pick up any one of these bins the 14 the 16 or the 20 also most other bins from other manufacturers are compatible with our chassis trailer most other so if you have some other brand named BS and you want our chassis cuz you like our design our flow our price points better well hey you buy our chassis and most other bins you can pick up with our trailer as well okay Y and I had a dural and I did sell my Dural because I got offered a stupid amount of money for and I even called him up I'm like I love this trailer but I can't turn this guy down I love it I love it so I sold it to uh a couple I sold it last year so I'm going to be picking up another one I need another durall they're they're phenomenal trailer effect I did a little bit of a compare and contrast to a friend of mine Ryan he has a dump trailer right on and uh it was a night and day difference I felt between the two trailers this was a great trailer but I just felt the quality that I was getting out of my dur Hall was where I wanted it to be so that I was comfortable enough going hey this is a good trailer for my audience that's awesome love it that's one of the things I've noticed now um you've got a winch system in the front we have a winch system in the front and so what that's also helpful for is we designed a complete deck for this trailer which is kind of a a separate attachment flat deck a flat deck so you can turn your 20ft chassis trailer into a deck over flat deck trailer using this wench system now is there a disadvantage to connecting and bringing containers up using a wench system like this versus anything any other options that are out there no there really isn't a disadvantage to that right I mean it's it's very simple training you can see it online it's very easy it's very simple to use It's very effective so no disadvantage or no Advantage it's just a great option for guys to use it's actually the most common option but it's also the less uh warranty free most maintenance free option okay absolutely good to know and if you have an issue you famous Jacob from Diamond SC and you guys are always kind of ahead of the path every time I've ever known you seen you always been the leader and I'm looking and now you have a new aluminum floor system you've got it on this trailer here and this is aluminum although it doesn't look like aluminum right so but we're saving weight yep saving weight and obviously it's going to last forever it's a lifetime floor just as short of you punching a hole through it I mean it's it's going to be a lifetime floor and it's uh as strong or stronger than for sure W yeah through all of our testing real rigorous testing with forklifts and skit steers and track machines all of that kind of stuff and the aluminum has held up really really well like it's it's been awesome so as I look at it I know a couple things about aluminum that I've learned from coming to the trailer show for now 4 years um this is not welded cuz welding weakens it you actually have this physically bolted to the framework it is it's screwed to the framework it's on 4ft centers so the aluminum is pretty rigid you've got cross members on 16 every 16 in centers under the trailer so it's really rigid it's going to hold up so this is a powder coated version of it you saw it on the gooseneck it's a raw version so the raw is actually what we'll go to market with the powder coat was more for fun for the show so yeah but uh for this application is really cool for your hot shots and those guys because it's another almost 400 lb Lotter on this trailer than normal Pond and worst case scenario if you damage a section pop it out you can just pop it straight out right from the top and then you're not going to you're going to you got the corrosion resistance of aluminum and all of the other benefits with the wave wood prices are replace the floor one time and you've pretty well paid for the aluminum option right you get 68 years out of a a pine floor but you got to replace it versus this will virtually last forever wow okay really cool and that is new by Diamond SE it's new by Diamond C this fall will'll be live on our website you'll be able to order one with it very cool anything new in the dump trailers yes as far as Control Systems yep you want to take a look at it yeah yeah let's go check it out so the rage has been all about how do we control the every aspect of our dump trailer with one remote and so now we've got electric tart the Jack and the cylinder on the bed all controlled by one remote which is pretty cool okay so this is our lpt which is our kind of our Flagship heavy duty dump trailer you see the big long arm tarp we did a couple of videos of that the last few years yep so right in here got a wireless control so we we turn it on we we select our option we got tarp telescopic and Jack so you go to tarp lets our tarp out telescopic runs the bed and then Jack runs the Jack so pretty cool you're doing it all from the anywhere in proximity to the trail one and you're done yeah it's really cool so is this out now it is coming so it's still prototype probably is fall as well so it's all about ease of control and you are probably one of the best guys at keeping people updated well one thing about Delco is we're the most durable we don't just say that our trailer looks good but it also works and last a really long time how do you prove that $2 buy one and see oh and this is our new cargo right here uh we just released this uh first of all we're known for our cargo trailers they're very durable and they're 100% steel uh but this is our new model and it has seamless sides so what you're looking at right now is a solid piece of Steel just bit so no way nothing's getting inside there so wait a minute say that again so I understand it this is solid steel but this is our new model so it has the seamless sides this is one giant piece of Steel just wrapped up what's your weight you don't have I was going to say is this a lot lot heavier yeah it's a heavy trailer okay but it's going to protect the contents better right so is that that's the idea is you just away like mold water anything like that I've never seen an all steel cargo no I haven't either only one that's all 100% wow it feels like a tank which people uh typically prefer the All Steel it just lasts a lot longer and it's more durable right doesn't Bend as much what's if you're not loading heavy I've seen do this Brian this is your own proprietary technology Yep this is a a hanging chain rack right so yeah and it's a bolt on that you can put on any of our 80in wide trailers so if you don't buy it from the factory with it installed if you do we'll install it if not we can ship that to you you drill four holes and slide it into the steak pockets and bolt it together so there's bolts here on the side and then it's got Clips you can put a long lock on it if you want yep pad lock that up if you don't just flip it up you can put your chains on and it hangs all the extra chain in here yep the box is removable so if you damage a box do something to the Box you unbolt it put another box on and we'll ship you the box and good to go and this is by Viper trailers yep made out of uh Indiana awesome thank you Brian yeah all right guys I start off almost every interview asking the same thing in the booth what makes your trailer what's your Innovation that makes your trailer unique better just different from anybody else out there and you are the only person that came up with this answer which I thought was interesting so what were you saying Derek uh uh the fact that you can get into this trailer like this for $5,000 uh you go to most places and and you find a finish like this with a 8 in Channel frame with a 8 in Channel wraparound tongue and 3in channel cross members you can hold your 12,000lb excavator for 5 grand so you can get into business for probably cheaper than any other place that you can find to get a trailer to get into business with so what you're saying is your build quality is the same as a more expensive trailer out there absolutely absolutely did where this trailer is this trailer is going to last you 20 years just like the $10,000 trailer but but you can get into this trailer for literally 5 grand and you got a 24t 14k equipment track and it gives you not quite a 12,000lb payload but you can get those heavy excavators uh the spring assist ramps like you're not going to overload it okay so if guys want more information on these things where would they go oh well you can go to down Earth website and and from there you can go to find a trailer locate a dealer pretty much that website will walk you through anything that you need to know and have personal contacts like we're not so big that when when you make a phone call you're going to get a personal uh sales rep that's going to be your guy that you'll you'll actually need and know for the dur I think the big thing is I mean that's that's great but anybody that doesn't answer the phone and and deal with a person instantly they should be just not in the radar screen anyway that's right right but what I think is important thing is if a guy is on a budget to know that he's not compromising on quality he's not getting a trailer that's going to laugh last half as long is he going to get every bit as good as AA because of our warranty we wouldn't warrant it the way we do if we
