Strangest fishing gadgets you won't believe exist!

we're back at the St Paul ice fishing show which is known as the Super Bowl of fishing gear let's go I freaking love this show cuz I always find something I've never seen before Jim what are we looking at with this one takes a picture every X number of seconds we then take those pictures and we run them through an artificial intelligence script which recognize what a fish looks like what does that give us it gives us a gallery just like your traditional trail camera so you can use this data to either show off to your friends a or get an understanding of when fish are coming by your favorite [Music] spot what are we looking at Mike this is the instraction uh to get you out of your predicaments so who is this truck what what vehicles does this go on who is it designed for this half ton larger one ton Vehicles so you recommend just having a a set of these in the cab of your truck yep have a set underneath the seat and if you have somebody that tends to get your truck stuck once in a while you just um missing you just put that right in there right just like that takes a couple seconds and you're good go so when you're out free that's it pull it back off wrap it back up throw it underneath your seat so now you've got them for trucks but you've also got them for semis semis ATV UTV small crossover vehicle same application and where do you guys find these at all ice lock into place all right pretty fast and easy and then we got the uh waist support belt comes off the back let's see if I get it caught up here all right that's just going to slide over the pole that's going to create the back to the chair right so you go from a a backpack to a chair here very quickly and easily all right for storage we have all of these Pockets we have uh the nylon um now ship I'll show you on here a little bit better so we have we get three rods across the front we got a nice thing for a tackle box on either side and get a tip up you also have the side part here that'll do the ice scoop got your favorite beverage you can throw in in there and wait there's more cuz now you can also keep your bait right under your butt that's right so this is uh works as an insulated Bait Bucket as well you just drill the hole in the back put your airator in works out great for that what what's new with the cool stool now this year is a six gallon bucket as well will'll work with it so you have a five and a six gallon bucket all right so for people that want to be up a little higher you can get a little more um items in there to be hauling around and um for summer fishing we got an extra little pole holder that was added to it you got one in the front pocket as well so you can throw that in there you get a Long Rod in case you're doing some shore fishing dock fishing anything like that so the cool stool and you're the inventor that's right thanks Joe yeah you bet all right guys I've showed you some of the fanciest ice fishing homes but this one is one of the more affordable ones $ 32,8 188 come on follow me in I've seen ice fishing homes that go for a lot more look at this thing showy this is nice for that price I mean oh it sure is I mean maybe it's just me but I was just looking at one that was 80 some th000 and I'm not seeing a whole lot of different here no a couple things that you're going to get with a ice cave fish house you're going to get bigger windows they're dual pane thermal pane dual pane windows um and uh ice cave is going to come with water so you have a full bathroom full kitchen it has an air conditioner it has an awning it has a screen door so you can use it year round including the summer um this this specific model has tons of sleeping space right now he's showing you the back you've got the benches on the bottom the bunk up top you've got a good siiz Pantry for the wife if that's not enough storage you've got all this storage coming around the wheel wells a second Pantry um couple of the hidden features in this your floor is going to be insulated with spray foam um you're going to have a 40,000 BTU furnace in this unit it also is going to come with a 1500 w space heating fireplace an inverted Outlet on the wall over there so you can run it one Outlet off of your 12vt battery it's got a queen bed up here on the lift and then probably the highlight of this if you're going to use it in the summertime is the size of the fridge and the freezer and the freezer microwave oven sink countertop space Central radio air conditioning correct yep cuz all ice fishing houses need air conditioning sure well in the summertime you're going to use this year round you're use it year you're going to use it year out so on the outside couple neat features you're going to have outside speakers that go with the stereo inside that way you can listen to your music outside in the summertime or out on the ice it's going to be a hydraulic lift uh you've got the electric awning with the blue accent lighting that wraps around the unit I'll show you that on the other side on the other side what do you mean on the other side yeah we're going to go all the way around up top you're set up with a backup camera already installed one of the few that actually have a compartment door this would be where all your water and stuff would be and then you've got all that accent lighting up here oh I thought the awning went all the way around so your accent lighting goes all the way the accent lighting goes all the way around keeps you safe when you're out there on the what you an awning all the way around but you know with this one well I'm Jim with Artic anchor so what I make is I make a lightweight anchor for when you go out and get stuck in a slush of snow get buried on the leg very simple you just drill a hole drop it in lox in the bottom of the ice nice and secure you take and hook your witch onto the strap and you just pull yourself out you don't have to break out a shovel nobody has to break out in a sweat so once you're out drop it down grab that cable and out the hole it comes only weighs 2 and 1/2 lb breaking strength is 10,000 lb so you're using a hole in the ice yes if you don't have one and you happen to be out ice fishing drill one yes and get yourself unstuck yes you're out in minutes rather than shoveling for hours that's called what that's called smart work yeah yes it does it is only underwater trail camera so what we've got here in front of you today is we've got we've taken traditional underwater cameras and we've mated them with your classic trail camera so think like a deer cam or trail cam that you put on you know your deer trail favorite hunting spot same thing here but what we're doing is we we've picture folks putting this under their castles at the end of their dock using it whole hop and bouncing around trying to find uh a great spot sort of a scouting tool and this is what it does we have traditional live feed capabilities like you can see here 160° field of view IR flash among other things but here's where we're a little bit different we have the ability to set this thing in a place for an extended duration of time up to 3 and 1/2 days with battery power or infinitely if you're plugged into a wall so like a doc application and what it does is it takes a picture every X number of seconds we then take those pictures and we run them through an
