What happens here

This video demonstrates the process of clearing a church parking lot of snow and underlying ice, emphasizing the importance of safety for elderly attendees. It highlights the use of specialized snow plowing equipment, specifically a Boss V-Plow with a 'Live Edge' feature, and explains the rationale behind a 'zero-tolerance' approach to winter maintenance. The project also covers strategies for efficient plowing and discusses the appropriate use of de-icing materials.

Zach Attack smack attack don't touch it don't hands off hands off no idea oh yeah she's getting tight up in here boys it doesn't look bad but it's treacherous out fact I just got done talking to the gal at the church and even though it's not a lot of snow we got less than an inch at this point this is the worst kind of snow and this is a zero tolerance account and the the reason this is what we call a zero tolerance this is our church this is our old church we call this the old church cuz it's old people that go here and if you look at this lot it's not perfectly flatten level so the folks that come in here have a difficult time getting into church even if it's a bright sunny day in the middle of June and the lot was perfectly level they're still having a difficult time but you stick uh old folk on something like this on this just slight angle coming down and then you put a layer of ice underneath that it's slip and fall season all day long so we're going to scrape this lot down and then we're going to Salt this lot so that when the folks come in for church we know that they're walking on the best possible conditions we can give them this is going to be a two-part series the first one it's going to be us doing the scraping second one we're going to Salt the heck out of this thing and we don't use sand ah we got to bring that up we don't use sand because in the Metro metropolitan area we don't want to have sand tracked into all of these buildings now when you're out in the country freak yeah mix that salt with sand it gives you melt it gives you gripon beautiful use it on the roads use it on the highways but on parking lot lot parking lots like this never shall the two materials meet ooh that's a that's a good looking rig right there what do we got the whole team here is Timmy here oh did Tim just P yeah was he bored today or what I'm sure not I already told him we're plowing and did they say okay she said yeah I said we're going to scrape it and then we're salting it she's like why are you doing that and I says cuz it's treacherous cuz it is it's freaking treacherous I was just saying you know even on the brightest sunniest day these old folks that come into this facility have have a difficult time getting in you didn't put your Clow on no an inch I can go back and get it I thought we were doing the snow power today it's coming it's coming yeah it's on its way I just left before Zach he was loading stuff up from his van okay what do you mean the snow power the white truck oh is he bringing that up here oh so I don't have to go back and get mine then okay I was just giving I was thinking about it putting it on furnace went out up north that's awesome oh that's SU yeah in the upper cabin froze up pipes pipes froze up and everything not yet we don't know still frozen right yeah it's hard yeah you can't tell can't tell you put one of them sunf fires in there and kind of can't too too big it's too big Zach I'm going to I'm going to have you stand out there and I'm just going to do a Lou a loopy just to show how how uh how slick it is hopefully I don't bash into any of these trucks right here especially the one a lot of both gr ones Yeah couple both ones if you're hitting one hit the white one yeah hit the the back driver side anything no do the passenger side so it evens out [Music] is that convincing enough that it's slippery out I would assume so and you were roasting the tire on the one side that's a Ford for yeah it looks a little slick doesn't it boys a real one oh you oh okay we won't though we won't oh you say that uh yeah I seen one wheel still spinning is what I saw one entire fire I don't know if this truck would spin two of them that's okay we're yeah oh traction control I took it off I'll get Alex can do everything better oh no no I was going to say you should see you should see the the white truck boot scooting Boogie with a with a trailer on the rear end of it that's what I'm saying that truck will oh she'll really go you'll straight you'll rip the tongue off the trailer skid hooked up to it still beat these trucks off the probably not that excessive but a factory one like a gaser I would say for sure yeah maybe not that fast but okay all right this is the longest intro ever but who cares um so are we going to scrap her down yeah we're going to plow it and then we'll salt it okay so I want I let's uh are we starting at the bottom down here or which way do you want to start CU I want to get start Zach um start with Drive Lane in in so that way if anybody else comes in and then do your parking lot working your way up this way yeah that's the way we jump in there and get started then are you testing him out are you just letting him go he can go yeah I think we'll be plowing this weekend helping bird out just doing some hourly stuff so oh you don't think we got a full push after SU cuz we got a decent amount supposedly coming they say two to three but I only see like one to two coming you know so if we get a full push we'll just call in a skeleton crew cuz it's going to start early Sunday and be done early Sunday so then we got all Sunday afternoon and all night Sunday you know yeah we could even save some for filming too till Sunday after midnight so it's Monday for you yeah we what are you seeing for snow like 2 to 3 Ines but I I comeing when on Sunday morning got % chance on my yeah I don't I doubt it I see a actual one to two coming but that's what they're saying what's going on what there's another Brown winner or what yeah backto back Brown winners backto back getting more plowing and making investments before the winter for the winter and then getting burned yeah yeah yeah yep so like on a normal year we probably plowed about what five six times by now oh yeah for sure we start in November we'd have always one in November and then sometimes it'll be better in December but by January we're we're we're in Yeah by now we should have plowed I mean one end storm should have plowed five of those alone and then had at least five and at least two or three five or five pluses you know easily all that rain we got would have been feet of snow would have been feet of snow I know I know and that storm literally went straight for us sh right around us raining in December I remember telling the kids go out you're on they're on uh winter break like go play in the snow and there's like it just all melted away got rain on yeah yeah I know it was 40 and 50° it was another 40 and 50 deer then that fog for days that was weird man that was people I don't know the conspiracy theorists are saying that was silver iodide they were showing it in like pools uh booger and up you know like was a weather modification cuz it was across the whole United States it seemed it seemed weird yeah but here I was thinking it's just a I'm not no no uh weather man but the ground was so um cold compared to the air so yeah I mean I'm not saying I believe that they and once it got cold that fog was like immediately gone right it once the cold snapped in yep whatever gosh you truck's going to look sweet after freaking Saturday why what happened Saturday T it yeah I finally convinced him to tinted oh you're tinting the the front the the the front the front and what about the back window you can do the is your back window not tinted I think it's tinted yeah I'll go look though I can't but I did tint over my factory tint in the back mine's black but yeah that's going to look cool tinted up it's going to be way yeah it's going to make the truck look so much better like one of those people that we cuss out cuz when we're plowing they Park their truck right in the OR car in the worst spot well guess what we're trying to do and then here's the boss of the company just sitting right there [Applause] activated we don't really have enough snow to plow but with this church and all the old folks and the layer of ice that's going down if we don't take care of it we're going to have some slipp and falls and some we're going to come out here and it's going to look like a whole field full of old folks laying down in the parking lot they're going to be laying there doing the crappy floppy so we've got to get this you know that so after we scrape her off we're going to be salting the heck out of this lot just to keep them guys safe Zero Tolerance that's what happens when you got a zero tolerance lot you can't let anything anything [Applause] accumulate how many horsepower is in that truck you think 450 probably with beefed up suspension just get your shot and then I'll we're going to do that one more time but I'm going to do it so Timmy can get his shot in Zach Attack smack attack all right let's go don't run me over or try not to boys that's what she said I'm like Michael Scott I have one joke and I use it well and I use it often [Music] all right so we have some contention going on here Tim and I are looking at it from the backside and when you look at how close that is look how close that Cutting Edge is the mle board is to the ground look at that you can see that it's like almost kissing the ground you can't have the mle board going into it but it's a Live Edge yeah Z raise it up and down once I want to watch it should still go further down too yeah it will yeah there's plenty of Cutting Edge on the front I just don't know if I like it being that close to the ground it's been like that the whole time and I got plenty of scrapes with this Su let's watch her so go ahead put her down Zach yeah you can see it so do it up up and down a couple times so look at that's that's the that is activating it yeah you it all the way winged out yeah wing it out once and then let's watch it the rake of the plow once it's straight wing it out go ahead okay that's good that's good now watch this this is where it activates go for it go away oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah look at that now you got all your Cutting Edge back it's Lake of the plow how it is like that but look it I've been plowing with it for months there ain't no freaking single scrape it's still freaking orange paint right there yeah I know it just looks really deceiving yep it does Tim and I are over there going that don't look that loose Bol I think we're looking at it tighten that sucker up what is that for The Cutting Edge or something don't touch it don't hands off hands off no idea I don't know what that's for actually hands off anytime somebody comes up to a piece of equipment somebody else is in a dangerous position right now let's just keep the video we'll tighten it up later oh what bolt coming loose yeah we got a bolt coming loose all right I'm going to put this back on Tim laps so that's how that's how the snow power Live Edge Cutting Edge Works arctic's Contours up and down it doesn't actually activate um metal plus has a spring HLA has a spring they're all different ways to skin a cat right but I do like the way that diesel engine sounds [Music] [Applause] [Music] and [Music] the lift it a little bit more in the back though yeah you want that rate 4 in block or a 3-in block for you what do you mean by a block so are your underneath your Leaf Springer is a 2-in block and you take that 2in block out and you put a 4in block in there so raise it to 2 in more and then you get longer bolts and then you have yourself your rake yeah what happened was I hooked up the uh I tested out a new I tested out loaders and when I was hauling my loader back from topnotch equipment loaded it up for the first time and if the front end is here the back end just sunk it looked so weird but it drove fine that truck sits just like that without the plow on it so it's got that rake you know probably 2 in lower in the front than the rear so that way when you hook the trailer up it's level that's what you want yeah you don't want to be looking up at the sky and and and be ligh in the steering wheel seeing your tires going like this cuz you're so high you know they're kind of starting to bow out a little bit yeah you don't want that so we can do that we'll do that in house just throw a throw a block in we can even do yours too in house cool ourselves get some blck kits okay it'd be nice if we could use your impact though for it cuz those uh UB bolts those nuts are that yeah of course you can of course you can we what use whatever we need to to have to use the yours H we'll just wait for my truck let's just wait mine is well we got the lot scraped so the next one is we're going to Salt what do we got which unit do we got salt in we can salt with both I'd like to spray it out of both and I'd like to leave a tiny bit in mine for my house for your house okay okay so that'll be the next video uh we got the lot scraped we're not trying to burn it off let's see let's give these guys a rule of thumb on how much snow you can uh burn off with salt you op there so many variables on that depending on the temperature if it's wet heavy snow you know what what the ground pavement temperature is if like for example for today we probably would have been safe salting it off because it's 30° we got good treated salt in there but with this little bit of flurries Fallen it's better to just scrape it throw the salt down this turns into a Brine and now everything that falls from now on will melt I'd say if we were going to do a Ru of thumb a Licking Stick it's a 3/4 to one inch is the maximum that you can burn off temps for sure with decent temps yep once you start to get over there look he's using his foot he's using his foot foot plow got to get that last little bit there yeah I I was there one day you know first time using a skitser I I didn't know how to scrape a a yard so I had my brother out there scraping the freaking sad with the shovel throwing it into into my bucket I didn't know I could drop the bucket and go and just peel that side up but I was like SI 16 you know the guy asked me you know how to do this I said yep of course I do You Haul the truck in a trailer for oh yeah just had my life y I can do that white knuckling the whole way I wasn't even white knuckling I had no idea I wasn't scared or nothing which is a bad thing you too dumb to know to be scared yeah I remember one time I was trying to pick up a load of bricks and rock and I pulled the skid loader up first time you know and I'm out there throwing in the bucket my dad looks at he goes you can pick it up with the bucket that's what it's for he's yelling at me he's like that's what the piece of equip like I know we've all been there all been there never that's one thing that I've I've had seen other people just pick on somebody that you know and I'm like dude every single person has been there at some point where they didn't know every single thing in life there was one point in your life where you didn't know how to put your own freaking pants on somebody had to do it for you so just shut the front door and stop criticizing people I was 17 doing a kind starting for when you first learned how to put your pants on yeah pretty much but a contract a concrete contractor I was working for him pushing wheel Bears around he's like you got any skid steer experience I'm like yes I do I sat I sat in one you know what one was I sat in one for like an hour once and that was my whole experience yes I'm I'm experien yeah I had a guy apply he say like yeah I know how to run a skid loader and he he we hired him and found out yeah he sat in one for one day one time you can tell he's like go go push that pile I'm like all right you know I I got k kicked out in about 20 seconds oh yeah everybody's like what the hell is this guy doing get back to the we barel back to pushing mud we were just talking about your foot plow there and how we've all been there didn't bring any shovels or anything like that none of the trucks have shovels on them all right well that's going to call for this video you guys God bless go get him uh stay tuned because we are coming back with part two where we start to Salt this lot so let's do that right now we'll see you guys on the next one hit that subscribe button hit the Bell notification hit a bunch of buttons who cares hit whatever button you want to hit just come back for more there's not dislike button yeah yeah or hit it I don't care if you don't like it hit it it goes into the algorithm it doesn't make a difference the dislike button is no different if I make you hate me so much that you want to dislike a video hit it twice
