Step 9 · Initial Watering Schedule

For the first 2-3 weeks after planting, water the ornamental grass deeply 2-3 times per week, or more frequently if conditions are very hot and dry. The goal is to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Once the grass shows signs of new growth, you can gradually reduce watering frequency, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
