Step 5 · Place Grass in Hole

Place the ornamental grass in the prepared hole. The top of the root ball should be level with, or slightly above, the surrounding soil surface. Adjust the depth of the hole if necessary. This prevents the crown of the plant from being buried too deeply, which can lead to rot.
