Load Paint and Purge Paint Line
At 1:49 in
Operating a Titan 440i airless sprayer. Airless Sprayer Instructions.
What happens here
Now that the sprayer has been primed with water, transfer the paint uptake hose from the clean water bucket into the bucket containing your paint. Keep the prime hose submerged in the clean water bucket. Turn the prime knob back down to the 'prime' position. Let the sprayer run until paint begins to emerge from the prime tube, displacing the remaining water. Once you observe paint flowing out, quickly flip the prime switch back up to the 'spray' position. This process loads the system with paint and ensures no residual water or air is left in the main lines.
Goal: Fill the sprayer with paint and remove any residual water or air from the paint lines.
