We're going to show you how to properly do a cut in on interior walls. To start this process, we use a 2 and 1/2 in angle sash XL glide pretty brush. It's a nylon polyester brush. We like the nylon polyester cuz it's a little bit stiffer and it actually functions better doing cutins. We use a 4-in nap. Use a pretty 4 in 3/8 in nap. White dove nap. We have a 2 and a half gallon bucket that paint with a 2 and 1/2 in grid. And the proper proper way to start and load up your brush is we actually dip the bristles slightly into the brush and we pat it on the side of the grid or the side of the bucket. And then as we get it up to the wall, we're going to actually rotate the brush so we don't get any drips. That's how you properly load up your brush. and show you how to do the cut in standing on a ladder. We're going to take load up our brush, pat it on the side of the bucket, turn our brush so we don't get any drips, and then we're going to put the rip brush about a/4 inch from the wall. We'll drag it, get it close exactly where we want the cutting to be. We go one direction. Hit it back the second direction. Opposite way. Reload our brush up. Get it about a quarter of an inch. Drag it up to your area you want your line. Drag it backwards opposite direction. Once we get all the little crevices filled in, we'll actually load up our nap. and fill it in so we can get farther away so our roller doesn't have to get close to the cut ends. Load up your brush one direction. Hit it the opposite direction. Make sure you get everything filled in. Always lay it out with a 4-in nap to get rid of your brush strokes when you're done.
