Antifreeze Rinse and Storage Prep

What happens here

For long-term storage or to protect the sprayer in freezing temperatures, a final rinse with antifreeze is recommended. Pour approximately one gallon of automobile antifreeze into a clean bucket. Place both the paint uptake hose and the prime hose into the antifreeze bucket. Turn the sprayer back on and run the antifreeze through the sprayer and gun, alternating between the gun and the prime hose, until you observe antifreeze consistently coming out of both. This displaces any remaining water, preventing freezing and inhibiting paint residue from settling or rusting internal components. Once completed, the sprayer is ready for storage.
