How to fill and spackle holes in drywall. Fixing a hole in sheet rock. Sheetrock Hacks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to properly spackle and patch small holes in drywall. To start this uh task off, we've got Sher Williams interior exterior spackling compound. We've got a small medium sanding sponge. We've got a tile sponge, wet tile sponge. We got two flexible spackle knives, two different widths. We've got um interior exterior spray primer. We use Insulct Seal. And then we've got some spray texture we're going to use. We're going to start off by making sure the hole itself, we've got a hole right here. Make sure it's flat. It's if it's not flat, we just punch in with a back part. Spackle knife. Now, once it's flat, we're going to remove some spackle, interior, exterior spackle. Going to press it in. Fills up that hole. Take our wide spackle knife. Make it sure it's level. Once that hole is level and smooth, we'll let that dry. Once it's dry, we'll lightly sand it with our sanding sponge here. And it'll dry in approximately 30 minutes, an hour. After it's dry, we're going to lightly spray it with texture to so it matches the the exterior texture around the hole itself. Once the texture is dried, we've got a couple holes. We've spat it right here. We're just going to lightly sand the texture down. Make sure it's flat. Then we take our spray primer and we're going to take and spot prime that texture prior to painting. And that's a mediumsiz hole. We have a smaller hole on this side over here. It's got a little nail in it. We're just going to remove that nail. We're going to use just a dab of spackle with our finger. And then we can just wipe off the excess with our finger. You can take a wet tile sponge and wipe off the excess. Also that way you could also take a flat spackle knife, fill the hole with a flat spackle knife and then just wipe the excess texture off around that hole just so it doesn't leave a big flat spot on your wall. Wipe down the wall. Once the walls wiped down, you want to just take your spray primer and then just spot prime the spot prior painting.
