Initial Water Flush
At 4:03 in
Operating a Titan 440i airless sprayer. Airless Sprayer Instructions.
What happens here
After finishing your spraying, it's crucial to clean the equipment immediately. First, remove the spray tip and tip guard from the gun. Transfer the spray gun hose from the paint bucket to one of the clean water buckets. Begin running clean water through the gun by pulling the trigger. Simultaneously, move the prime hose from the dirty water bucket into a fresh clean water bucket. Alternate between running water through the gun and through the prime hose until you see only clear water coming out of both the gun and the prime tube. This process thoroughly flushes all paint residue from the sprayer and hoses, directing the paint-laden water into the dirty water bucket.
Goal: Remove paint from the sprayer and hoses using clean water.
