Install Flexible Water Connectors

What happens here

Connect the flexible stainless steel water heater connectors (24 inches long) to the hot and cold water ports on the top of the water heater and to the newly installed copper piping. Use the blue connector for the cold water inlet and the red connector for the hot water outlet. Hand-tighten the connections, then use pliers to give them a final snug turn. The use of flexible connectors is beneficial in seismic areas, allowing for some movement without breaking the lines.

Goal: Connect the water heater to the main water lines using flexible connectors.
