DIY Farmhouse Dining Table

What happens here

The final assembly involves carefully placing the finished wooden tabletop onto the painted metal base. The tabletop is positioned so that its underside aligns with the pre-drilled holes in the metal frame. Using an impact driver (DeWalt brand), screws are driven up through the holes in the metal base and into the wooden tabletop, securely fastening the two components together. This method creates a robust and stable dining table, ready for use.

Goal: Join the finished tabletop and metal base

tabletop itself very snug and then the screws that I use will have a washer the washer will keep if the screw from coming out of the large hole allowing for it to move on the table base itself and keeping the tabletop snug so that's my approach there's a couple other little Hardware pieces you can buy it but this works very well and of course to wrap things up I finish it off with about five coats of clear coat polyurethane the water-based stuff and it's ready for serving [Music]
