week and you know follow us along okay so if you're one of the 3% of the people in this role have been living under a rock and have never heard of dremel dribbles one of the most classic tools in the world that it's the tool that's still our grandparents still have maybe something on a you know older level they're kind of known for their rotary tool everybody's got the old black one this is a brand new rotary tool dremel tool the dremel saw-max tool the classic Dremel multi-max dremel tool the Dremel stylo dremel tool smaller rotary tool from dremel still dremel tool so now for the first time ever Dremel came out with something it's gonna revolutionize the cleaning industry I think I don't I don't know much about the cleaning industry here's how I usually use my dremel tool every once in a while I'll need to make a cut a very awkward cut that I'll need like a multi oscillating tool every once in a while I'll need a rotary tool to get into a small crevice or small nook to really grind off a spot and in fact I even use the cutting wheel to cut out a circle when I couldn't use my hand but at the end of the day there's still tools that you don't really use on a regular basis they're like that tool that you need to make your life really easy it's the jewel that that when you're doing a project if you didn't have that specific tool you'd have gone from five minutes to four hours trying to pick a nick at something so when I found out that Dremel is coming out with a dremel versa the first time I get to lay my hands on it was in New York for a Facebook event at a Home Depot thing where we were reviewing or seeing the tools that we'll be reviewing for the year I knew that this is coming and it blew my mind because this is one of the Dremel tools that I'm sure that people are gonna use on a very very regular basis as a homeowner or person who just lives in a building so here are the basic principles of the tool this is the tool that has a motor and the battery built-in it has a little micro USB attachment that you could plug into the wall via a USB or you could just simply plug it into a wall and charge then you have this rubber guard that just comes in and clicks in place then you have a choice between two pad attachments one is a the hook and loop attachment that comes on screws on and then you take a pad and you put it right on top there is the polishing pad the abrasive pad and a very strong more like a Scotch Guard plat pad and the other attachment is the brush and all it does goes on just like that and check this out this is my favorite part here for the sake of like Hollywood let's make this look super cool my favorite part check this out whoa so when Dremel is like hey can you let us know what you think of this tool I did not hesitate to think about what project I'm going to use it on because I knew exactly what I want to use it on because this specific project I've been loathing and pushing off for the longest time in fact for a year it's kind of embarrassing let me show you let's go alright so based off of Exhibit A well and the echo is a big giveaway as well you piece together that this is the bathroom so I've been working on this house remodeling it for about a year now and the problem by remodeling it all at once is walking into the house with shoes on from the garage from one part of the other you're not really completing things so things that you've done have now already gone dirty here's one of the things like no stains and we just recently cleaned it like used a regular brush and went down it certain parts are okay but then look at those parts I mean that stuff is caked inside the pores so what we're gonna do is we're gonna use a cleaner not that Clorox tile cleaner this is not sponsored by clerics this is just a kind of cleaner that I have and then we're gonna use the Dremel versa with a brush and a splash guard and we don't work the area of slow by slow to see how effective a real and also how not as messy can be then attaching in the brush to a drill isn't any kind of fun [Music] chicken in a real quick I'm taking a break the batteries charging here's the bummer deal it's performing just fine that's the good news the bummer deal is that it ran for about 10 to 15 minutes 15 minutes is like on a good note and then the battery died so I don't know what the rating the battery life to be at I looked online I looked at the home people's website the dremel website and couple other things they're just saying you know it's convenient all that stuff but I couldn't find actually a number saying hey this is how long the battery should last so far that's a little bit of a turn-off because I just clean about half of the tile or the grout of the tile and then it died so now I'm waiting it's actually I'm not too surprised to because I know dremel had a stylo that was the chartered battery charged one you set it up charger than go I heard they're getting about similar kind of battery life side of it I don't know if I'm being too picky or whatnot but I kind of wish that it would have a little bit more life to it the million dollar question how did it clean well see for yourself here's a little quick picture so my final conclusion my final thoughts my final ideas about the Dremel versa I think it's great tool I think there is a need for some like this in the market I think it has the right idea behind it my only issue with it is it needs more power it needs the ability to switch to give it a little bit more umph a little more rpm at the very least if we're not gonna do that at least let's give it a little more battery life I know it would make the device a little more bigger but maybe we could play around with the way the cells are positioned inside the unit I don't know but at least having the ability to connect the cord and run it off of the AC power outlet just in case you are your battery's dead maid job so that's really the only opinions that have great idea guys I I like I like where your head's at well that is it for me this week those are my thoughts those are my opinions on the Dremel verse I hope you guys enjoyed this
