Prepare Caulk and Caulk Gun

What happens here

Before applying caulk, prepare your caulk gun and caulk tube. Cut the tip of the white acrylic latex caulk tube at a 45-degree angle, making sure the opening is not too large or too small—a small, clean cut is ideal for a smooth bead. Load the caulk tube into your chosen caulk gun. For the "sponge caulking" method, keep a wet tile sponge nearby, ready to be used. The sponge should be kept really wet to allow for smooth caulk manipulation and to keep your hands lubricated.
