Final Sanding After Caulking

What happens here

After the caulk has completely dried, you may do a final light sanding of any areas that require it to ensure a perfectly smooth surface. This also applies to any newly spackled areas (such as the closet trim shown). Use your medium sanding sponge to lightly go over any rough spots or imperfections. This final sanding ensures that the trim is optimally prepared for priming and painting.

Goal: Ensure all surfaces are perfectly smooth before painting.
