What happens here
For an even more meticulous finish, especially if you're concerned about spackle spots showing faintly after painting, apply Bondo Glazing & Spot Putty. Use the same flexible spackle knife to apply a thin layer of this red glazing putty over the previously spackled and sanded areas. This product dries very hard and sands extremely well, making nail heads virtually undetectable once painted. Allow the glazing putty to dry, then sand it smooth.
Goal: Achieve a flawless, 'automobile-like' finish on nail holes.
