Budget Turbo Yukon XL "Uncle Rob" Final Assembly! Downpipe Fab & Wastegate Plumbing (Ready to Rip!)

What happens here

The presenter realizes that a previously installed bolt near the turbo's oil drain line is inaccessible due to the compressor housing. He explains that he'll need to remove a clamp piece from the turbo to gain access with an Allen wrench and properly tighten the oil drain. He also demonstrates trimming excess material from a silicone coupler to create a cleaner, more professional look when installed, using the clamp as a guide.

Goal: Secure the turbo oil drain and improve the aesthetic of the charge pipe assembly.

Tools and materials

  • Allen Wrench — Tightening the oil drain bolt
  • Clamp — Guiding the trimming of the silicone coupler
  • Knife/Razor — Trimming excess silicone
  • Silicone Coupler — Trimmed for a cleaner look
