What happens here

The presenter highlights that the IAT sensor should not be placed directly next to the blow-off valve, as the blow-off valve's operation can contaminate sensor readings. He then drills and taps a new hole for the IAT sensor in the removed charge pipe. He tests the fit of the sensor but does not fully thread it in, as it comes pre-sealed and he doesn't want to waste the thread sealer. He then cleans out the pipe before proceeding.

Goal: Install the IAT sensor in a proper location on the charge pipe.

  • Cordless Drill DeWalt — Drilling the hole
  • Drill Bit — To create the pilot hole

here we go make you guys happy now this is all kind of off i'm just spitballing where do i want to put the intake temp sensor we don't know the true reasoning but you're not supposed to put the iat sensor right by the blow off valve probably because the blowout valve opens then it contaminates the reading of the sensor momentarily what is this rear end iris rear end on a pitch in camaro you think like right here would be good like where my thumb is yeah okay testing it real quick it's going to work i'm not going to thread it in because the sensor has like the thread sealer already worked into it so i don't want to waste that um i'm going to clean this pipe out real good before we send it home i don't know if it's going to come off it looks
