After extraction, use a carpet grooming brush or a squeegee-like tool (as shown in the video) to gently brush the carpet pile in one direction. This helps to stand the fibers up, remove any remaining excess moisture, and achieve a uniform, factory-fresh appearance. For heavily saturated mats, follow up with a clean, dry microfiber towel to blot any remaining surface moisture.
