After the baking soda has done its work and you've prepared the vinegar solution, direct the spray bottle towards any visible stains or particularly dirty areas on your carpet. Apply the solution until the spot is damp but not overly saturated. Immediately following the spray, use your scrub brush to gently but firmly scrub the treated areas. This action helps to work the vinegar solution into the carpet fibers, effectively lifting embedded dirt and loosening tough stains.
