Seal Stained Treads — Finish New Treads

In this video
After the stain has completely dried, apply four coats of a clear sealant, such as Varathane NanoDefence Premium Clear Floor Finish (Satin), to protect the treads. Apply thin, even coats, allowing each coat to dry for the recommended time (2 hours for re-coat) before applying the next. This step will protect the stained wood from wear and tear.
