Step 4 · Install Deck Posts

Cut deck posts to the required length, accounting for beam height and any necessary shimming. Attach the posts to the post anchors embedded in the footings using appropriate fasteners (e.g., bolts, structural screws). Use a level to ensure each post is perfectly plumb in two directions. Brace the posts temporarily to keep them stable during framing.
