Step 7 · Fill Nail Holes and Gaps

Once the adhesive has cured, use a paintable wood filler to fill all visible nail holes. For small gaps between the molding and the wall/ceiling, or at mitered joints, use a paintable caulk. Apply the filler or caulk generously into the holes and gaps, then smooth it flush with a putty knife or your finger. Allow the filler to dry completely before proceeding.
