Step 3 · Cut Crown Molding Pieces

Based on your measurements and the miter saw settings, carefully cut each piece of crown molding. For each corner, ensure you are making the correct opposing angle cuts. For straight runs between corners, you will likely need straight (90-degree) cuts, or beveled cuts if the molding meets another piece at an angle. Cut slightly long at first, then trim to fit precisely.
