You Won't believe what we're milling with the Woodmizer!
What happens here
The newly cut 2-inch by 12-inch white oak boards are stacked by hand onto the forks of the red TYM T1104 tractor. The presenter explains that this batch yielded enough boards (seven 2x12s, 13 feet long) for one raised bed. He mentions the impressive weight of each board, approximately 250 pounds due to the density of the white oak. The thinner boards (roughly 1-inch by 12-inch) will be saved for board-and-batten siding for a smokehouse. The process is repeated for a red oak log.
Goal: Organize and prepare the cut lumber for drying or immediate use.
