You Won't believe what we're milling with the Woodmizer!

What happens here

The process of milling continues with a red oak log. Similar to the white oak, the red oak log is first squared into a cant, and then cut into boards. The smaller, roughly 3.5-inch wide boards are explicitly intended for board-and-batten siding for a smokehouse project. The remaining wider boards (about 1x12 inches) will also be utilized. Sawdust continues to accumulate from the milling process.

Goal: Produce red oak boards for a smokehouse project.
