What to expect when ordering chicks or chickens from Meyer hatchery.....Day 1 arrival! Awesome!

What happens here

The presenter checks the internal temperature of the brooder box using a thermometer/hygrometer. He notes the temperature is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15.5 degrees Celsius) and the humidity is approximately 20%. He explains that the heat lamp tends to draw out humidity, which can be detrimental to the chicks' respiratory system. He plans to use a small mist sprayer to increase the humidity to about 80-90%.

Goal: Monitor and adjust the brooder's environmental conditions for optimal chick health.
