hey guys this Josh sty Ridge farmer America baby [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so guys if you watch yesterday's Farm vog someone gave us probably 90 bales of free hay some of it was old and unusable we're going to put that in spots on the farm that are washing really badly places we want to rehab the land and we're going to take some of it we're going to stack it up we're going to put it on Craigslist for sale and we're going to feed our goats with it we don't need all these bales of hay so we're going to try and sell it on Craigslist but today I'm just going to stack it up on the edge of the field get it ready get it looking good something you need to know about round hay bales if you think about it back in the day they used to build houses with thatch roofs okay a round hay bale it's just like a thatched roof if it rains on the hay bale it doesn't ruin the hay okay it it allows the water to Cascade down off of the uh hay bale if it rains on a round bail it's just fine these Bales were bailed last last July so they're totally good and hopefully we make a little bit of money on these things around here around Bale like that is kind of cow hay or goat hay it's not really premium hay probably goes for 30 bucks 25 bucks something like that so we'll put them on Craigslist for 30 bucks a bail and if you buy more than five Bales we'll sell them for 25 bucks pretty good money-making now let's get country on the tractor all right woo guys what you're seeing behind me is a grapple this is a root grapple and we're going to use this to pick up our hay bales because I don't have a bail spear yet a bail spear kind of pokes who through the hay bale I don't have that yet so we're just going to use this to pick up the Bales and place them where we want to this thing is like a big jaw Farm working let me show you one of the spots that I'm talking about that really water a whole lot often times this is a problem on the farm that we've got to take care of pretty quickly so that we don't get more washing we don't want to damage the watered and we don't want that mud in the creek [Music] up a [Music] City [Music] now a place my home SC the City by thez you know where I came from the dirt in the B [Music] [Applause] the baseball in aont with brother I take long more dreass one more I just down in the house there we go I'm talking about the C tree the place to my home I care about City the you know where I came from dir and the so so [Music] C home I don't care you know where I came from [Music] got to get a GoPro I need a GoPro somebody send me one I guess I'm going to have to buy one look behind me guys what an awesome life look back here behind me isn't that beautiful what a good life follow me on this Farm adventure guys stick with me you're going to see some cool stuff [Music] my dog is in the dogghouse right now he won't stay away from the neighbor's house he wants their Ducks so guys I don't have all day to run around with the camera or maybe I do taking you on this adventure with me so I'm going to go ahead and get to work on this and we'll get it done licky split get on to the next task on the farm today got some trees to plant now you see it done all right farm work baby Sor right guys had to change shirts we uh did a little bit of City work we had to go to town and do some stuff checking on some free horse manure but anyhow uh the goats are here in the pin and we're going to see if we can call him in with a little goat call goie goie oh goie yeah goie goie piggy Pig goie goie go come on go go go oh they go here they come guys I got him coming go go hey everybody hey everybody hey everybody what are y'all doing what are you doing look at that look at that Billy come on Billy what's old Billy doing what are yall so guys show you a little trick to get over my electric fence just take my little Feeder here and get it right over we got the goats fed woo Stony Ridge baby still got a hole in my hat all right guys onward and upward to our next project today we're going to take a logger's measuring tape and we're going to Mark out right here where our uh grape Vines are going to go we're going to do grape trellises out through here we've got two rows of poles we've got some musked grapes we've got some regular white grapes we've got some uh concord grapes and we're going to Mark out to place our Gra here basically we're going to run High tens a line between these post um which is about 75 ft long and we'll uh string up our grapes that way we'll probably have grapes somewhere in the neighborhood of the next 3 to 5 years we'll have plenty of grapes so and we're also going to use a big pile of manure there to done our grapes make them nice and healthy guys we totally ran out of time we were going to plant The Grapes today but we couldn't get it done it took us an hour to hook up the stupid augur for the tractor probably could have dug the holes by hand but you know why would we have a $40,000 tractor if we're not going to use it so anyhow it took me an hour to hook up the augur we got our Christmas tree planted so guys a thing to think about next Christmas buy a tree with a root bald on it okay this is what we did we bought this tree right here it's like a little Douglas fur and it or I don't know what the heck it is I don't know so we bought this Christmas tree last year basically it probably came from a Christmas tree farm it came with the root ball on it we put it in a big old pot that we got from Lowe's cuz we don't shop at Home Depot cuz they wouldn't give me a veteran discount and Lowe's Rock I don't know if you can hear me right now but I need a diet I'm huffing and puffing and all I'm doing is talking and I need a new hat anyhow we got this uh at a little country store and we drilled a hole with our augur on our tractor and we planted it put some horse manure in there with it and it's a good thing to do so instead of chopping a tree down for your Christmas next year go ahead and get one with a root ball on it search find them make it your mission make it your family Mission I don't know if I'll be hugging buddy tonight guys buddy got into a skunk anyhow guys it got really really dark on us it's starting to drizzle a little bit of rain we're kind of stuck we probably could stay out here and work but we don't want to cuz we've got some adult beverages that we want
