TIME SAVING TIPS AND TRICKS FOR SERVICING YOUR TRACTOR AT HOME!!

What happens here

Locate the hydraulic fluid dipstick, typically found near the rear of the tractor or a hydraulic reservoir. For this John Deere 5065E, it's near the PTO output. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and reinsert it fully. Pull it out again to check the hydraulic fluid level. For accurate readings, the fluid should be checked when the tractor is level and the engine is off and cool. If the level is below the 'add' mark, use a clean funnel to add John Deere Hy-Gard Hydraulic Fluid to the reservoir until the level is within the safe operating range. Refer to the owner's manual for specific fluid type and capacity.

Goal: Ensure the hydraulic fluid is at the correct level for proper system operation.
