What happens here

This project guides you through building a sturdy, multi-level ledger-style storage shelf system in a garage corner. The shelves are constructed using wooden ledger boards anchored to the wall and supported by vertical studs, with plywood used for the actual shelf surfaces. This DIY solution is ideal for organizing truck parts, tools, or any garage clutter, maximizing vertical storage space.

I got truck parts absolutely everywhere, so I need to build a shelf in this corner. Let's get after it. So, I'm doing a ledger style shelf. I set my first shelf at 20 in off the ground, and I'm just going to go ahead and put a screw in here. That's level right there. I'm going to screw this up. All right, so now that we got the back one on, we're going to go ahead and throw our side one on here. All right, so I cut these spacer blocks, so now all of my shelves will be the same distance all the way up. So, I'm just going to put the spacer blocks on there. Drop my second shelf ledger. And then all I got to do is make sure that it's level. Perfectly level. We'll do two more shelves going up, then we put our plywood on. Next step is is to run a board from here to here on all of them, and then to run a board from here to here on all of them, and then we'll put our half-inch plywood down, and the shelf will be done. All right, I got the bottom two shelves tied into this corner here. I'm going to finish the last two, and then we're going to sheet it with plywood. All right, this is not going anywhere. I'm going to go ahead and drop my plywood on top of here, and then uh we'll start stacking stuff on it. And there we go. I got a shelf built for all of my truck parts. Now I can start the restoration again. I got some Z's to catch. We'll catch you guys later. Peace.
